On International Women’s Day, Leading Women for the Ocean network, celebrates the inspiring women working across the world to protect our ocean and advance sustainable ocean governance. From science and policy to coastal communities and industry, women are driving change for a healthier ocean and a sustainable blue economy. Yet women remain underrepresented in many leadership and decision-making roles related to the ocean.
